Polish Thursday:Flash Billboard
Today’s example is a local campaign for shopping centre in Wałbrzych. Its goal was to recruit people who would like to appear on the shopping centre’s ads. They used different forms of creative outdoor (mirrors for example – so you could see yourself on the billboard right away). But much more interesting solution was – so called – flash billboard. They used the billboard just next to a frequently used pavement. Then, they installed a photo-cell, buzzer and a flashing diode into the billboard. Photo-cell reacts to the people passing by and thus starts buzzer and a flashing diode. As a result it looks like somebody is taking photo of you.
