Polish Thursday: you won't find the unique taste under the tree
Relatively old (2006) but still a good example of how to enhance traditional TV campaign with ambient media. Mars’ TV spot with a teenage boy biting young woman’s butt and a claim: you won’t find the unique taste here is pretty well known. Probably because of being so absurd (ergo: better in attention-getting and being remembered). Some time ago Fabryka Pomysłów decided to translate this idea into ambient media. They produced 2000 plates with the campaign claim on them and then installed them in places where target group might be – next to the school buildings, in the parks, on the pavements and so on. Installation lasted for one month in the 8 biggest cities in Poland. Simple but yet eye-catching.
