Polish Thursday: Amnesty International – paper-clip
Well, holiday is over so I’m back with Polish Thursday section again. Today’s campaign was realised by Leo Burnett Warsaw for Amnesty International in Poland. Everybody knows (as MacGyver has taught us) that you can unlock different things (such as door or handcuffs) with a paper-clip. You just need to bend it properly. So AI bended it as number one – since you can donate 1% of your tax for charity purposes. And you can also donate this 1% for AI – thus help them to free people from the prisons all over the world. The sets of these paper-clips with a small note attached were placed in the business offices in Poland.

I am not sure that I hear what I hear!!! All people? Even murdrers, rapists, terrorists who are killing defencless and innocent people …?
Would you plese explain, what yoy mean?
Not all people of course! Those unfairly imprisoned. For example political prisoners. It was written on the note attached to a paper-clip. See third picture, above. Regards, N.
‘For example political prisoners’
…
‘See third picture’
Third picture reads ‘niesłusznie’. In english it means – ‘unfairly’ as you pointed out.
Unfairly does not mean ‘political’.
Who is in position to say that sentence to the criminal was ‘unfair’, except legal court?
That’s really a great idea. I like it.
By the way, have a look that still the paper clip – that’s all McGyver really need :)
There is an error in the title. Should be: Amnesty Abortional. To kill unborn babies is the newest human right according to AA.
Second, you gotta be lucky to be described by AA as ‘unfairly imprisoned’. Irving wasn’t lucky.
