Polish Thursday: Save the bear, turn off the light
Just over one week ago we had an Earth Hour. This is really a great event but it lasts too short. To stop global warming we should turn off the lights much more often. Not only for one hour a year. To communicate this Greenpeace Poland made in 2009 very appealing murals. The picture of polar bear sitting on the electric chair was sprayed onto buildings and connected to the nearby light source. The claim was: Save the bear, turn off the light.

Genialne.
OK! Lets assume that global warming effect does really exist.
Then – in respect of above – how to explain last long and strong winter in Poland?
It’s not just „global warming” – but „global climate change” – the whole earth is warming up, therefore there are many climate anomalies – like very high temperatures in certain parts of the world, or very low temperatures in the other parts – like in Poland.
