Takie tam banały na temat Facebooka

Jak napisał ostatnio u siebie Artur Kurasiński: „Koniec 2009 roku rozpoczął nową histerię, której na imię Facebook.„ To prawda, szał na Facebooka przypomina trochę sytuację sprzed dwóch lat, kiedy to w przypadkowej rozmowie słyszeliśmy wciąż: „Jak to?! Nie ma cię jeszcze na Naszej Klasie?!?”. Dziś więc dwa słowa komentarza w sprawie „szału na FB” także z mojej strony, przy czym z tzw. naukowej perspektywy. Nie mogłam sobie odmówić. Dlaczego? Bo zawsze powtarzam, że teoria wyprzedza praktykę o kilka lat – w przypadku mediów społecznościowych okazało się, że nie jest to kilka lat, a kilkadziesiąt.

Polish Thursday: Hot summer during the winter cold

Well, at the moment we have a real winter in Poland. It was -20 degrees last week and it snows really heavy just now. Which is cool, being honest, because we have winter holidays at the moment as well – lots of people are skiing in Polish mountains. But we also have a sea in Poland. Deserted during the winter time. Thought so until… I’ve read about the promotion organised by Pomeranian and West-Pomeranian province of Poland (Pomorska Regionalna Organizacja Turystyczna). They sent beach girls to two Polish ski resorts (Jurgów & Karpacz). Dressed only in swimming suits they sit on the deckchairs… sun-bathing :). They have a real sand in there, all the equipment needed during the summer time (umbrellas, screens, beach toys etc.) and they can listen to the summer noises: sea, seagulls and ship’s sirens (all coming from the loudspeakers). Fortunately, they’re not cold as well: the sand is isolated from below, deckchairs are covered with special warming mats and the whole construction is warmed up with ventilators and heat emitters. All people coming to the „beach” get a Beach-Pass – special coupon that enables to take part in the contest – you can win 2 days- or 1 week long stays at the Baltic Sea during the summer. Campaign will last from 25/01 until 28/02/10.
