Polish Thursday: Word Play by Ogilvy Warsaw

WarmGreetingsOgilvy_smallGood example of non-traditional PR/ direct marketing. Last year, just before Christmas Ogilvy Warsaw sent to their clients a pair of red gloves. It was written on the attached note: Warm greetings from Angorska! Probably there would be nothing interesting about it but the pair of gloves was made of angora wool. Keeping in mind that it is also the name of the street where Ogilvy Warsaw is located, the slogan itself comes into a new meaning. Nice and warm (especially during Christmas time and cold Polish winter days). And eye-catching red colour wasn’t accidental – it’s of course Ogilvy’s corporate colour.
